Make plans to participate in

The Huntington Lighthouse Music Festival, September 2, 2017!

HBC members rafted up for the weekend for the past few years enjoying great music, drink, food and of course comraderie.

This event, held each Labor Day weekend is the ONLY Music Festival in the WORLD held on top of a working lighthouse in the middle of the water!

The Lighthouse Musicfest was started in 2006 to increase awareness of the Huntington Lighthouse plight and to bring a unique FUNdraising event to the Long Island boating community.

Bands play from 11 am to dusk. Each hour a different band performs.

Festival T-shirts are sold by Pirates on dingys, so bring your $20 donation.

The festival is held annually on Labor Day weekend and attendance has grown to over 1,000 boats with over 10,000 attendees attending by yacht, boat, kayak, canoe, inner-tube, or any other mode of water transportation they find to reach the lighthouse! Boaters are drawn from New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Jersey!!

Rafting up at Charles Island, Cleo, Brandywine, Enigma and Crocodile, grilling, swimming and hangin out.

"Cruising has two pleasures.
One is to go out in wider waters from a sheltered place. The other is to go into a sheltered place from wider waters." -Howard Bloomfield
